The star and his wife had very different opinions after Karan Johar invited them to view the teaser for and songs from his forthcoming film.
By all measures, Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is one of the most anticipated films of the year. With a cast of Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Anushka Sharma and Fawad Khan, the film is loaded with box-office power. Naturally, when he needed an opinion on how his work on the film is turning out, Karan Johar turned to close friend Shah Rukh Khan and family.
Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan were among those invited to the preview of the teaser and the music of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, and it appears that Khan was not very pleased with what he saw.
Reports said the actor suggested some serious changes to the trailer, and Karan Johar is planning to implement every one of them. Considering how much the filmmaker values Khan's friendship and opinion, this is not surprising. Also, the pressure on Karan Johar to deliver a hit is quite high. Ae Dil Hai Mushkil will release in October this year and go up against Ajay Devgn's Shivaay. Quite a clash!
While Shah Rukh Khan was busy poking holes in Johar's film, his wife Gauri had a contrasting view. She posted on Instagram that she was impressed with Johar's work on the film. A much-needed positive for the filmmaker.
Well, the Khan family is certainly going all out to help a dear friend.
