The tall and handsome actor Sidharth Malhotra started off as a model at the young age of 18 years. However, wanting more from his career made him move to the entertainment industry and he assisted well-known director Karan Johar on My Name Is Khan (2010). And in the year 2012, his mentor Johar launched him with two other newcomers, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan, in Student Of The Year (2012). Born on 16 January, 1985, he is the only child of his parents. He did his schooling from Don Bosco School, New Delhi and Naval Public School. He then pursued his graduation in B Com from Bhagat Singh College, New Delhi. Malhotra has always been an active sportsperson and continues to maintain his physique through fitness regimes. The good-looking actor’s performance in his glamorous debut film Student Of The Year (2012) got him noticed, and he was seen as a promising newcomer. It even won him the Starduse Award for the Most Promising Debut. However, his next released two years later - Hasee Toh Phasee (2014) opposite Parineeti Chopra. The film was well received by the audience. Later the same year, he was again seen in Mohit Suri’s action thriller Ek Villian (2014), as a hardened criminal. The film became one of the major commercial successes in Malhotra’s career. He had yet another release a year after that, Brothers (2015), with Akshay Kumar, where he played a boxer. His latest, Kapoor & Sons (2016) turned out to be a commercial and critical hit, and his performance was commended.

Apart from that, Malhotra has consistently appeared on Times of India’s lists due to his charismatic personal and sex appeal.
