Model-turned-actress Kim Sharma was born on 21st January, 1980 in Ahmednagar, Maharashtra. She completed her schooling from St. Joseph Convent in Panchgani, but dropped out of school after completing 12th standard. 

Her modeling career kick-started after she was selected at an audition for Close-Up Toothpaste. After this, she was seen in commercials for renowned brands like Pepsi, Sunsilk, Liril, Ponds, Tata Safari. 

Sharma got her first break on the silver screen with Aditya Chopra’s Mohabbatein (2000). Her performance in the film was noticed by some eminent directors of the industry. With this success, she bagged many other acting opportunities.

Some of the films that she has acted includes Tumsa Aacha Kaun Hai (2002), Kehtaa Hai Dil Baar Baar (2002), Khagdam (2002), Fida (2004), Taj Mahal:An Eternal Love Story(2005), Tom Dick and Harry (2006), Ladies Tailor (2006), Zindaggi Rocks (2006), Godfather:The Legend Continues (2007), Deshdrohi (2008) etc..

Apart from making a mark in the Hindi film industry, the actress has also worked with the Tamil, Telugu, Urdu and English films.
