Tall & pretty actress Karishma Tanna is a known face on television. Born on 21st December, 1983, she is the alumini of Sydehnam College, Mumbai. Aspiring to be a part of the entertainment industry, she started off by modeling for various brands and featured in many commercials.

Tanna tasted success with Balaji Telefilms' soap opera Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi (July 2000 - November 2008). Her next was with Balaji Telefilms again - Kahi To Milenge (November 2002 - 2003) on Sahara One. 

She worked in many television shows before moving to the big screen. Tanna also hosted a magic-based reality TV show, India's Magic Star (2010) 

The model-turned-actress made her Bollywood debut with the film Dosti: Friends Forever(2005), with Bobby Deol. Her second film was Kannada film I Am Sorry Mathe Banni Preethsona (2011). In 2013, her third film Grand Masti (2013), was declared a declared a hit.
