Hiten Tejwani is a popular television actor who has also appeared in a number of films in supporting roles. Born on 5 March 1974, Tejwani dreamt of becoming an actor since his early days. He began his journey with theatre workshops and kept working as a model. After appearing in a number of TV commercials, he made his debut with Sony TV's drama Ghar Ek Mandir in 2000. As he became popular as 'Gautam', Tejwani began to get offers for many TV dramas. He is known for his performances in Balaji Telefilms' Kutumb (2001-03), Kaahin Kissii Roz (2001-04), Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi (2000-08), Kahiin To Hoga (2003-07), Balika Vadhu (2008-16) and Darr Sabko Lagta Hai (2015-16). Tejwani's big-screen projects so far include Anant Balani's Jogger's Park (2003), Manish Jha's Anwar (2007), Sajid-Farhad's Entertainment (2014) and Rajiv S Ruia's Saansein – The Last Breath (2016). He was a contestant in the dance game show Nach Baliye 2 (2006) and a host in Nach Baliye 4. He has received a number of awards for his small-screen roles. He is married to his Kutumb co-star Gauri Pradhan.
