1 My Name is Khan (2010)
Karan Johar's My Name is Khan reassembled the dream team of Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol after Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham (2001). Shah Rukh played a character with Asperger's, Rizwan Khan, who makes it a mission to seek out the President of the United States after his stepson dies in a racially motivated incident. Television actor Christopher B. Duncan had previously played the President on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and here as the filmi Obama managed a public meeting with Rizwan and his wife Madira in the feel-good finale of Johar's film.
2 Phas Gaye Re Obama (2010)
In 2008, a charismatic Senator from Illinois worked his way to the White House with a message of hope through his widely popular campaign slogan, 'Yes We Can'. Similarly, the characters in Subhash Kapoor's Phas Gaye Re Obama use Obama's motto as beacon of optimism in their lives. Obama makes an appearance in the film through archival footage of his inspiring victory speech from Chicago, his hometown. Writer and actor Rajat Kapoor mines the American dream, along with the Obama name, with the promise of a better life for much hilarity in this dark satire.
3 Tere Bin Laden: Dead or Alive (2016)
Director Abhishek Sharma's follow-up to 2010's Tere Bin Laden is another satirical look at the events after the death of the most famous terrorist in the world. Pradhuman Singh returns at the unfortunate Osama lookalike, Paddi Singh, who is wanted by everyone, U.S. officials and disillusioned radicals, for their own personal agenda. Paddi even gets to meet POTUS, played here by Iman Crosson, an online influencer also known as Alphacat. Crosson probably based his performance on personal experience as he was invited by the real President to a White House tour in 2014.
