Why It's Anticipated: It's been five years since Aishwarya Rai Bachchan last appeared onscreen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Guzaarish (2010). Her return to Hindi cinema is much awaited in this remake of the Korean drama Seven Days (2007).

Why It's Anticipated: Vikas Bahl's directorial debut, Queen (2014), swept most of the Best Film honors at various awards ceremonies this year. His second film is a Dharma co-production which takes place at a destination wedding featuring veteran thespian Pankaj Kapur acting opposite his son Shahid Kapoor for the first time.

Why It's Anticipated: Director Kanu Behl's debut film already premiered last year at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival in the Un Certain Regard Section to great acclaim. Behl, whose previous credits include co-writing Dibakar Banerjee's Love, Sex aur Dhokha (2010), drew from his own personal experiences to create a North Indian family whose main 'business' is car-jacking.

Starring: Randeep Hooda, Richa Chadda, Adil Hussain, Tisca Chopra

Why It's Anticipated: Based on the true life events surrounding notorious serial killer Charles Sobhraj, Main Aur Charles follows the dual paths of the police officer who tracked down the fugitive Sobhraj resulting in a chilling cat and mouse game. Randeep Hooda plays the indiscernible felon while Adil Hussain plays Amod Kanth, the tenacious Police Commissioner who is determined to capture him.

Starring: Salman Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh
Release Date: November 12, 2015
Why It's Anticipated: Director Sooraj Barjatya and Salman Khan last worked together 16 years ago in the blockbuster hit Hum Saath-Saath Hain (1999). Khan's other 2015 release Bajrangi Bhaijaan is already the second highest-grossing Indian movie of all time. He plays a double role in the film.

Why It's Anticipated: Writer-director Imtiaz Ali gave Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone significant hits of their career. Tamasha reunites all three of them in a story about two people who lives change after a chance meeting traveling abroad.

Why It's Anticipated: Bejoy Nambiar's Wazir brings together Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar on the screen for the first time. Based on a screenplay by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Abhijat Joshi, Wazir has Akhtar playing an Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) officer while Bachchan plays a retired chessmaster; both are connected to each other through a game of chess.

Why It's Anticipated: Bajirao Mastani brings back the Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela (2013) team in this historical drama based on the life of Peshwa Baji Rao the first. Sanjay Leela Bhansali has tried to make a version of this film since 2003 with paring up different actors and actresses, finally selecting Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra to play his lead characters.

Starring: Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon

Why It's Anticipated: Director Rohit Shetty's latest brings back one of the most popular pairings of Hindi cinema, Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, in the 20th anniversary of one of their biggest hits, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995). Rounding out the rest of Dilwale's cast are Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon and Vinod Khanna.
