Good Bad Girl trailer: Samridhi Dewan plays a young woman who enjoys bending the truth

A lawyer who enjoys bending the truth and telling white lies, how unusual! That's the premise for SonyLIV’s newest series follows Maha Ahuja, played by Samridhi Dewan, who is a 'Good Bad Girl'.

The upcoming series, which has been created by Vikas Bahl and directed by Abhishek Sengupta, shows Maya aka Bulbul lying since childhood to get out situations. She is encouraged by her father for lying and chastised by her mother for telling the truth.

She grows up to become a lawyer and when she is on the verge of being fired by her boss, played by Gul Panag, she lies about a cancer diagnosis, gaining sympathy. Her lies restore balance to her life, and Maya gains benefits by claiming she has cancer.

Will her lies eventually catch up with Maya? Good Bad Girl seems to suggest that Maya is very good at covering her tracks.

Dewan is known for her role as Pammi Goel in the Indian remake of The Office (2019); this is her first lead role in an OTT  series.

The dark comedy also stars Vaibhav Raj Gupta, Aradhya Aanjna, Sheeba Chadha, Namrata Seth, Rajendra Sethi, Soham Majumdar, and Zain Khan Durrani.
