The SonyLiv series College Romance is back with its third season. The show starring Gagan Arora, Apoorva Arora, Keshav Sadhna, Shreya Mehta, depicts the life of college students and their romantic lives.

Described as the ‘Gang of Crazies’, the trailer features Bagga (Gagan Arora) offering lame excuses to cover-up the presence of a lady friend when questioned by Karan (Keshav Sadhna).

Naira (Apoorva Arora) and Bagga are in a long-term relationship and Deepika (Shreya Mehta) sees him with another woman, making her suspicious about his intentions. Karan too gets riled up when he realises what Bagga is up to.

Meanwhile, Deepika seems to hook up with Eklavey Kashyap’s character and Karan with Nupur Nagpal.

The trailer features friendships, the uncertainty and turmoil in romantic relationships, as well as the pain of heartbreak. The second half of the trailer includes emotional scenes and fights breaking out but it seems to all work out in the end. While the gang is back in Season 3, Trippy seems to be missing, as there is a reference to him not being a part of their life anymore.

With a lot of talk of vibrators and happy endings, there are some funny moments in the trailer as well with the general tone of the trailer being light-hearted and breezy. The rock music-inspired musical score is quite suited to the college-centred theme of the series as is the backdrop of the college campus.

Season 1 of the show, which released in April 2018, featured five episodes, followed by Season 2 in January 2021, with another five episodes.

Created by The Viral Fever and produced by Arunabh Kumar, College Romance (Season 3) is directed by Parijat Joshi. The show is written by Ashutosh Chaturvedi and Pankaj Mavchi.

Season 3 will start streaming on SonyLIV on 16 September. Watch the trailer and let us know if you would be keen to see the series.
