Jordan Sandhu’s latest Punjabi song 'Band Theke' takes you through a journey of heartbreak. With music by Desi Crew and lyrics by Shree Brar, the music video has been directed by Bhindder Burj.

The video begins with a wedding scene where Jordan realises that his beloved, played by Miesha, is getting married to some other man. He wishes to drown his sorrows in alcohol but finds that the liquor shops are all closed, hence the title ‘Band Theke’.

In the video, he reminisces about the good times that the lovers spent together. These scenes are juxtaposed with Miesha spending time with her husband. However, after breaking Jordan’s heart, she realises that all is not well with her marriage.

Shot primarily in slow motion, the song features good production values and picturesque locales. The video follows a storyline of heartbreak and conveys its emotions aptly.

The hummable and catchy song is enhanced by Jordan’s melodious voice. Shree Brar’s lyrics capture the emotions of anguish and well, the desire to resort to alcohol in times of trouble.

While the obsession with alcohol is seen in several Punjabi songs and movies, ‘Band Theke’ sets a terrible and dangerous example for Sandhu’s young fans, as he is drinking alcohol and riding his motorcycle in the video.

Sandhu has frequently collaborated with Desi Crew. The Punjabi singer also made his acting debut with the Subedar Joginder Singh (2018), the Punjabi film directed by Simerjit Singh.
