Producer Amit Bhatia announces debut film with Anupam Kher and Saiee Manjrekar

Amit Bhatia, founder and managing director of Mach Conferences and Events, has announced his first film as producer with Anupam Kher and Saiee Manjrekar as leads.

The yet-untitled film, produced by Bhatia's Mach Films, is expected to go on the floors by the end of this year.

Director G Ashok, known for his work in Telugu cinema, especially the Anushka Shetty-starrer Bhaagamathie (2018), joins the project as director. He made his Hindi debut with the remake of Bhaagamathie titled Durgamati (2020) starring Bhumi Pednekar.

Sharing his excitement about working with the cast and director, Bhatia said, "Anupam Kher is one of the phenomenal actors we have in the Bollywood [commercial Hindi cinema] industry. Saiee Manjrekar is one of the most aspiring actresses who already has a massive fan base. We couldn't have thought of any other better actors apart from them for this project. I am looking forward to working with these incredibly talented actors, and I am very sure that they will put my vision into reality and bring it back to the audience on the big screen.”

Mach Films' second film will begin shooting in April 2023 and will be shot in London, England. Their third is expected to begin mid-2023.
