Mismatched (Season 2) trailer: Dimple and Rishi return as they date others

The trailer of Mismatched (Season 2) opens with Rohit Saraf's Rishi returning the favour as it's his turn to drop a drink on Prajakta Koli's Dimple. The couple ended the first season on bitter terms with each one accusing the other of betrayal.

This time around, it seems that the two have moved on to different romantic partners. Dimple starts a romantic relationship with Harsh (Vihaan Samat), while Rishi dates Sanskriti (Sanjana Sarathy). Will they ever reunite?

The summer program at Aravali Institute also brings new opportunities as five internships are up for grabs, with Dimple hoping to nab one of those slots. Also starring Muskkaan Jaferi, Taaruk Raina, Rannvijay Singha, Vidya Malavade, Kritika Bharadwaj, Abhinav Sharma and Devyani Shorey who play returning characters, the ensemble cast is joined by Priya Banerjee and Ahsaas Channa.

Based on Sandhya Menon's 2017 young adult novel When Dimple Met Rishi, the story has been adapted for an Indian audience. The original was set in the US.

Produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Mismatched (Season 2) is directed by Akarsh Khurana, who is also the showrunner. He also co-directed the first season.

The series is written by Gazal Dhaliwal, Aarsh Vora, Nandini Gupta, Sunayana Kumari, and Akshay Jhunjhunwala.
