Babe Bhangra Paunde Ne trailer: Diljit Dosanjh is the mastermind behind a get-rich-quick scheme

The trailer for Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh’s upcoming film Babe Bhangra Paunde Ne (2022) begins with Dosanjh declaring that just like the three richest men in the world, Bill Gates, Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos, he and his friends will become the next richest men, as they too have fabulous ideas. He then presents a psychedelic underwear in a boardroom filled with unimpressed people. 

The friends realise the best way to get rich quick is to encash a life insurance policy. But the hurdle is finding an old person whom they can get insured, so they can cash in from his death.

Herein begins the race to adopt a father! The three go to an old people’s home to find a prospective candidate, leading to several hilarious moments. But things start getting complicated when the adopted father’s health starts improving instead of declining!

The trailer fetaures many funny moments and this film, like many of Dosanjh's earlier films, promises to be a rib-tickling comedy. The film also stars Sargun Mehta and Sohail Ahmed.

Directed by Amarjit Singh Saron, the comedy is written by Naresh Kathooria, and shot by filmmaker-cinematographer Baljit Singh Deo.

Amarjit Singh Saron has had a fabulous run so far with the back-to-back success with the Dosanjh-starrer Honsla Rakh (2021) and the Ammy Virk-starrer Saunkan Saunkne (2022). 

Babe Bhangra Paunde Ne is due to be released in theatres on 5 October on the holiday of Dusshera.
