Ayushmann Khurrana-starrer Doctor G to be released on 14 October

Ayushmann Khurrana takes on the medical field in his next Doctor G (2022) which is due to be released on 14 October. The feature film directorial debut of Anubhuti Kashyap also stars Rakul Preet Singh, Shefali Shah, and Sheeba Chadha.

The actor announced the film’s release date with a quirky caption that read: ZindaGi hai inki full of Googly, Chahiye tha Orthopedics, par ban gaye DoctorG.  

Khurrana plays medical student Dr Uday Gupta who wants to be in orthopaedics but instead finds him in the gynaecology department. The first look poster shows the actor donning a white coat while surrounded by his boisterous female classmates.

Rakul Preet Singh plays Dr Fatima, while Shah is also said to be a doctor in the film.

Produced by Vineet Jain and co-produced by Amrita Pandey, the script for Doctor G has been co-written by Sumit Saxena, Vishal Wagh, Saurabh Bharat and director Kashyap.

Doctor G will clash against Ribhu Dasgupta’s Code Name: Tiranga (2022) starring Harrdy Sandhu and Parineeti Chopra, at the box office on 14 October.
