Vikram Vedha song ‘Alcoholia’: Hrithik Roshan shows his dancing skills in this wild number

It was clear from the trailer of Pushkar and Gayathri’s Vikram Vedha (2022) that the film is a more commercialized version of the original Tamil film of the same name by the same filmmakers. Now, the song ‘Alcoholia,’ which is just out, further confirms this. 

When a mainstream Hindi film has an important character of a gangster, it is obvious for it to have a dance track based on him. ‘Alcoholia’ is another addition to the list. 

Hrithik Roshan plays Vedha, the gangster, in the movie. The song is a celebratory number taking place inside his den where he and his sidekicks are having a gala of a time with alcohol. 

Hrithik lives up to his image of being one of the best dancers in the industry as he lets his hair loose and shakes his leg unabashedly. He is also seen coming up with his own version of Salman Khan’s famous towel dance.  

Composer duo Vishal-Sheykhar has fulfilled the requirements of such a high on energy number. The two have also shown the same enthusiasm when it comes to the vocals, along with Snigdhajit Bhowmik and Ananya Chakraborty. But Manoj Muntashir’s lyrics lack the punch that one expects from such fun numbers. 

Vikram Vedha is to be released in theatres on 30 September.
