Maja Ma song ‘Boom Padi’: Madhuri Dixit-Nene takes to the dance floor in this lively garba number

The first song ‘Boom Padi’ from the Amazon Prime Video film Maja Ma (2022) is a festive track involving the whole family.

The garba song, composed by Souumil Shringarpure and Siddharth Mahadevan, features artistes Madhuri Dixit-Nene, Ritwik Bhowmik, Barkha Singh and Srishti Shrivastava taking to the dance floor as they celebrate both the festival and the coming together of families.

The musical composition brings together a lively rhythm of Indian instruments that immediately sets the mood. Written by Priya Saraiya, with a mixture of Hindi and Gujarati words, the foot-tapping number is sung by Shreya Ghoshal and Osman Mir. Ghoshal’s vocals suit the veteran actress as she takes the lead while dancing.

Attired in traditional garba outfits, the choreography by Kruti Mahesh is also eye-catching as the dancers pop up and down in high energy on the dance floor.

Directed by Anand Tiwari, Maja Ma also stars Gajraj Rao, Sheeba Chaddha, Rajit Kapur and Simone Singh.
