After a two-year wait, Netflix has announced that the second season of the young adult series Mismatched is due to be premiered on 14 October.
Starring Rohit Saraf and Prajakta Koli as Rishi and Dimple respectively, the couple parted ways at the end of the season when there was a massive misunderstanding between them regarding their shared app project.

A new video announcing the release date shows the duo revealing their return and apologizing for the long wait. However, the two haven’t made their differences as Saraf’s Rishi walks away from Dimple as the cameras roll.
Later, Dimple also walks off as the characters played by Vihaan Samat and Sanjana Sarathy look on worried. Samat and Sarathy play Dimple and Rishi’s love interests this season. Will they reunite or find new partners?
The new season will also see the summer program winding down for the gang at Aravali Institute. Muskkaan Jaferi, Taaruk Raina, Rannvijay Singha, Vidya Malavade, Kritika Bharadwaj, Abhinav Sharma and Devyani Shorey all return to reprise their characters. Priya Banerjee, Ahsaas Channa and Sanjana Sarathy join the cast as new admissions to the institute.
Produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Mismatched (Season 2) is directed by Akarsh Khurana, who is also the showrunner. Gazal Dhaliwal, Aarsh Vora, Nandini Gupta, Sunayana Kumari, and Akshay Jhunjhunwala are the writers on this season.
