As per our trade sources, the budget of Brahmastra is Rs400 crore. Despite such impressive run, the film is not going to surpass that number. But in a year that has been terrible for Hindi cinema, the performance of the film, which also stars Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy, has given a new lease of hope to the industry.

But that’s not all. Brahmastra has also performed very well in the overseas market by amassing $8.10 million in the first weekend, which is equal to Rs64 crore. This is the highest overseas opening weekend in the pandemic by a large number as no Hindi film has been able to collect even $4 million in this period.
