Suriya's next is an epic action adventure saga, see motion poster

National award-winning actor Suriya’s next, tentatively titled Suriya 42, looks to be an epic period action adventure saga with the star as a fierce warrior.

The actor unveiled the motion poster and asked fans for “good wishes” for his new adventure. Shooting on the project has already begun last month.

The first motion poster shows an eagle flying high above a battlefield surveying the scene from up above as several fires burn. It eventually lands on the shoulder of a warrior, who is also watching the action on the battlefield from afar.

While we do not see the warrior’s face, it is a safe to assume that this is Suriya. The character has donned armour to protect himself and is attired in dark colours. He also holds several weapons in preparation.

Directed by Siva, the 42rd film in the actor’s filmography also stars Disha Patani in the lead role.

Produced by KE Gnanavel Raja and Vamsi-Pramod, the upcoming film features a score by Devi Sri Prasad. Vetri Palanisamy is the director of photography on the film.

Suriya 42 is due to be released in 3D in 10 languages, likely by next year. The film is being shot in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
