Srijit Mukherji's X=Prem to be released in theatres on 3 June

Srijit Mukherji’s upcoming film X=Prem, which was supposed to be released on 13 May, will now hit the theatres on 3 June.

Starring Arjun Chakraborty, Madhurima Basak, Shruti Das and Anindya Sengupta, X=Prem is a romantic tale in which technology plays a crucial role.

In the film, Khilaat (Sengupta) meets with an accident and loses all memory of the past 10 years, which also includes beautiful moments shared with his beloved Joyee (Das). However, deeply in love, Joyee refuses to give up and goes all the way to rekindle his feelings for her. 

The role Arnab (Chakraborty) and Aditi (Basak) play in this storyline has not yet been revealed.

X=Prem is also the first collaboration between the director and all the main cast.

Mukherji’s upcoming Hindi feature Shabaash Mithu, starring Taapsee Pannu, will be released on 15 July.
