Amazon miniTV’s Badboli Bhavna is about the life of a social media influencer

Ankush Bahuguna and Apoorva Arora are seen in the short film Badboli Bhavna as a married couple. Directed by Pranjal Dua, the movie was released today on Amazon miniTV on the Amazon app where it is available free.

Badboli Bhavna is a comic drama about Bhavna (Arora), a social-media influencer, and her introvert husband Sankalp (Bahuguna). The two are in a constant struggle to keep their personal and digital lives separate.

When the two go for a romantic dinner on their second marriage anniversary, both are happy, for very different reasons. While Sankalp is all smiles because of the occasion, Bhavna is delighted to have reached the milestone of one million followers.

Giving details about the film, Girish Prabhu, head of Amazon advertising, said in a statement, “The fascinating lives of social media content creators and their persona have always influenced our lives to some extent. This short film is a light-hearted, fun entertainer that will give audiences a glimpse into the lives of these social media stars. Badboli Bhavna is a short film that will leave audiences across India with ample food for thought.”

Arora has acted in films like Bubble Gum (2011), OMG: Oh My God (2012), Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty (2014) and Manjha (2017, Marathi). She has also acted in web-series like Firsts (2020), Glitch (2019) and College Romance (2018).
