After turning presenter for films such as Pondicherry (2022) and Chandramukhi (2022), Marathi actress Tejaswini Pandit is all set to showcase her talent as a film producer with the upcoming feature film Bamboo.
The film is backed by her newly launched production house Creative Vibe, which she started in partnership with her friend Santosh Kher.
The actress took to Instagram to announce the project.
Bamboo has been written by Ambar Hadap and will be directed by Vishal Devrukhkar, who has helmed popular films such as Boyz (2017) and Boyz 2 (2018).
Devrukhkar said the youth will find Bamboo very relatable. "This is a very light-hearted film and everyone who has been in love will like it. I have worked with Tejaswini in some movies but at that time, she was only an actress. Now she is working for the first time as a producer and she is handling this responsibility quite efficiently," the filmmaker said.
Elaborating on her new journey as a film producer, Pandit said, "Vishal Devrukhkar's films have always captivated the youth. His films revolve around the lifestyle of today's youth generation and their language and make them feel like their own life. What is special about this film is that it also gives an important message. Santosh and I loved the story so much that we chose Bamboo for our production debut."
The makers have kept the rest of the details about the cast and crew under wraps for now.
