Punjabi feature Snowman gets a new release date, again

The Punjabi-language feature Snowman, starring Neeru Bajwa, has been given a new release date yet again. Written and directed by Rana Ranbir, the film was originally slated to arrive in theatres in November 2021, following which it was given the release date of 7 January 2022. The film will now be out on 22 July this year.

Ranbir shared the news on Instagram.

Also starring Arshi Khatkar and singer Jazzy B, the film is set in a snowscape and seems to be a thriller. The poster shows policemen interrogating the character played by Ranbir, who is handcuffed. Jazzy B plays a policeman in Snowman, while Ranbir has an angry expression on his face.

Produced by Gippy Grewal and Aman Khatkar, this will possibly be the first Punjabi film to be shot on snow-clad mountains.

Neeru Bajwa’s film Kokka was recently released in theatres and the actress seems to have had quite a busy year.
