Anil Ravipudi’s Telugu comedy F3, which stars Venkatesh and Varun Tej, has struck gold at the box-office.

As per AndhraBoxOffice, the film had a strong opening weekend, grossing around Rs60 crore worldwide.

In a recent media interaction, director Anil Ravipudi revealed that he had already decided to continue the Fun & Frustration franchise long before F2 became a blockbuster.

"While F2 was all about marital issues, F3 will be all about money. Each role has its own significance, and I've attempted to incorporate the most relatable aspects," Anil had said.

After starring in two back-to-back remakes such as Narappa (2021) and Drushyam 2 (2021), Venkatesh has returned to the comedy genre with F3 and he plays a character who suffers from night blindness in the movie.

Varun Tej was recently seen playing a boxer in the Telugu sports drama Ghani (2022), which turned out to be a box-office dud. He plays a character with a speech impediment in F3.

The makers have confirmed that the franchise will continue with F4, and this time the story will be set outside India.

F3, which features Tamannaah and Mehreen Pirzada as sisters, also stars Murali Sharma, Rajendra Prasad and Sonal Chauhan.
