Sonu Sood’s next project, Fateh, to be an action-packed film

Actor Sonu Sood will be seen next in Prithviraj as Chand Bardai, a 12th-century poet who was the titular warrior’s close friend and the composer of the epic poem Prithviraj Raso — which recounts the historical ruler's exploits.

The period epic, which stars Akshay Kumar, is set to arrive in theatres on 3 June. After this historical drama, Sood will start shooting for Fateh. 

Directed by first-time filmmaker Abhinandan Gupta and written by Farhad Samji, the project's intriguing first look was released a few days ago. 

Fateh is being produced by the actor's wife Sonali. The artiste said, “Fateh is an action film. It’s based on technology and how frauds happen due to hacking these days. I will be shooting the film in one and a half months and the preparation has already started. I’ve worked on the script for the last 11 months and done a lot of research.”

The actor also admitted that he has many other interesting roles in the pipeline. Sood was also seen in the Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan-starrer Acharya apart from hosting the latest season of the MTV reality show Roadies.
