Prithviraj: Hindustan Ka Sher trailer – Akshay Kumar sets out to vanquish Mohammad Ghori

The first trailer of Chandraprakash Dwivedi’s Prithviraj hinted at the story, which is centred on the 12th-century ruler Prithviraj Chauhan. Starring Akshay Kumar as the king and Manushi Chhillar as his consort Sanyogita, the film is produced by Aditya Chopra under his banner Yash Raj Films. 

The newly released Prithviraj: Hindustan Ka Sher trailer revolves around a barbaric incident that sparks a passion for revenge. The promo starts with the sultan Mohammad Ghori (Manav Vij) and his troops killing members of Prithviraj’s army and setting their tents on fire. 

Enraged by the atrocity and motivated by Kaka Kanha (Sanjay Dutt), Prithviraj sets out to finish off the invaders. 

Striking features of the new trailer are the exciting background score and the camerawork, which captures the scenes of battle. 

Prithviraj will see Akshay play a historical character for the first time. The film marks the debut of Chhillar, who won the Miss World title in 2017. 

Distributed by Yash Raj Films, Prithviraj will be released in theatres in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on 3 June.
