TV actress Chinmayee Salvi to make Marathi film debut in Ye Re Ye Re Pavsa

After acting in Marathi television serials such as Tu Majha Saangaati, Choti Malkin and Navri Mile Navryala and the Hindi TV show Wagle Ki Duniya, Chinmayee Salvi is now all set to make her Marathi film debut in Ye Re Ye Re Pavsa.

Speaking about her maiden feature, Salvi said in a statement, “My character in the film shows love in a different way, which will touch everyone’s heart. I was offered this film when I was acting in one-act plays in college. Every artiste dreams of acting on the big screen. I am happy that my dream came true through Ye Re Ye Re Pavsa. This film also aims to drive home a message.” 

Salvi was also a part of TV reality shows on Doordarshan, ETV Marathi and Colors Marathi. 

Directed by Shafaq Khan, Ye Re Ye Re Pavsa also stars Chhaya Kadam, Milind Shinde, Vinayak Potdar, Aarya Adhav, Sandesh Jadhav, Pradeep Nawale and Prajakta Wadaye.

This is Shafaq Khan’s first Marathi movie. He had directed two Punjabi movies Desi Romeos (2012) and Prince Of Patiala (2015).

Ye Re Ye Re Pavsa was supposed to be released in 2020 but because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the film will be released on 17 June.
