The Punjabi-language feature Sher Bagga, starring Ammy Virk and Sonam Bajwa, is set to be released in theatres on 10 June.

Written and directed by Jagdeep Sidhu, the film is presented by Daljit Thind and Virk and is backed by Thind Motion Films and Ammy Virk Productions.

Virk shared the trailer on Instagram with his fans.

The trailer features Virk trying to find a match for himself. Bajwa helps him look for suitable partners, leading to some funny moments. Meanwhile, his family back home wonders what their son is up to when they see his pictures with different girls.

One drunk night spent together leads to Bajwa becoming pregnant and that’s when things go topsy-turvy. She does not know what to do and he decides to keep the child. The two of them come to an agreement but things are not as simple as they seem. The romantic comedy employs the metaphor of hens and their eggs to describe the predicament that the unlikely couple finds themselves in.

Interestingly, this is the second Punjabi film to deal with the issues of parenthood. The Diljit Dosanjh hit film Honsla Rakh (2021), also starring Bajwa, was the first one to deal with single parenthood.

Deep Sehgal, Nirmal Rishi, Kaka Kautki and Baninder Bunny are part of the additional cast of Sher Bagga.
