Netflix will begin streaming the second season of She from 17 June

Netflix's crime thriller She is coming back with its second season from 17 June. Series lead Aaditi Pohankar took to Instagram to share the update.

Written and created by Imtiaz Ali, the seven episodes of the second season will be directed by Arif Ali who had also directed the first season with Avinash Das.

The first season, which was released in March 2020, revolved around Pohankar's timid constable who goes undercover to expose a drug ring and gets sucked into the dark underworld.

The first season, which also starred Vijay Varma in an important supporting role, mostly received mixed reviews.The second season will also star Kishore Kumar G, Vishwas Kini, Shivani Rangole, Sam Mohan and Suhita Thatte.

Meanwhile, Pohankar is returning as Pammi in MX Player's Ek Badnaam...Aashram (Season 3), to take revenge on godman Baba Nirala played by Bobby Deol. The web-series, which has been directed by Prakash Jha, will be streamed on MX Player from 3 June.
