Poonam Dhillon's daughter Paloma Thakeria to make acting debut alongside Sunny Deol's son Rajveer

Poonam Dhillon and Sunny Deol starred together in Sohni Mahiwal (1984) and Samundar (1986). Now after more than three decades, their children are coming together for a film.

Dhillon's daughter Paloma Thakeria and Sunny Deol's younger son Rajveer Deol are set to make their acting debut in a Rajshri Productions project.

The yet-to-be-titled film also marks the directorial debut of veteran filmmaker Sooraj R Barjatya's son Avnish Barjatya and will go on floors in July 2022 in Mumbai.

The film, which is Rajshri Productions' 59th project, will explore millennial relationships and their complexities and simplicities. The coming-of-age love story is set against the backdrop of a lavish destination wedding.

Avnish Barjatya is excited to be working with Paloma. “She is the perfect fit for my character. Her immense work ethic and enthusiasm make it so exciting to work with her every day. Paloma and Rajveer share great chemistry on screen and play off each other really well. They have both seamlessly blended into their roles.”
