The suspense thriller Adrushya, starring Pushkar Jog and Manjari Fadnis, is a story of deceit, murder and hidden secrets. In the latest trailer, Mrs Sanika (Fadnis), a young and prolific business leader, finds herself caught in a huge conspiracy when her married twin sister Shailee (also Fadnis) dies by suicide.

Her husband (Pushkar Jog) believes that Shailee took the step because she was diagnosed with progressive blindness, which gradually leads to loss of vision. Everyone even the police are adamant that it was a clear case of suicide but Sanika suspects foul play and decides to find the actual reason for her sister's death on her own. As she continues the investigation she comes across some discrepancies in the police investigation.

Meanwhile, someone who doesn't want her to find the truth is on her tail.

The sharply cut trailer does a really good of building suspense around Shailee's death. Another thing that stands out is that it never reveals the motivation of any character, which makes the viewers intrigued by the proceedings. The trailer also features popular actor Riteish Deshmukh, who makes a guest appearance in the film.

Adrushya is an official remake of the Spanish mystery thriller Julia's Eyes (2010) and marks the directorial debut of celebrated cinematographer Kabir Lal.

Produced by Ajay Kumar Singh under the banner Lovely World Entertainment, the suspense thriller is set to be released in theatres on 13 May.
