The blockbuster RRR (2022), directed by SS Rajamouli, will have its digital premiere on Netflix a little ahead of schedule. The multi-starrer action drama, starring Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt, will be streamed from 12 pm on 20 May.
The multi-lingual film, which was released in theatres on 25 March, was originally due to arrive on the streaming platform on 2 June.

Speaking about the digital premiere, Rajamouli said, “It was exhilarating to see RRR being received well by audiences, not just in India but also internationally. We are excited to now take RRR to film lovers in over 190 countries with Netflix. Nowadays, content is breaking language barriers and tapping into audiences around the world — and Netflix will give RRR a platform to do just that!”
Jr NTR and Ram Charan play fictional versions of two Indian revolutionaries, Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitarama Raju respectively, who strike up a friendship in the 1920s.
The Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam versions of the film are being premiered on Zee5 tomorrow.
The Shahid Kapoor-starrer Jersey (2022) will also be premiered on 20 May on Netflix.
