Second season of Huma Qureshi's Maharani is arriving in August

Actor Vineet Kumar, who is such a known face in Hindi cinema, television and web-series, is set to play the role of a politician in SonyLIV’s Nirmal Pathak Ki Ghar Wapsi (2022).

The actor loves to challenge himself and while he thought it would be easy to play a politician, the character challenged him to dig deeper into nuances. The show is set to be premiered on 27 May.

Vineet Kumar, who was seen playing the character Gauri Shankar Pandey in the Huma Qureshi-starrer Maharani (2021), will also be seen in the second season of the series which has been wrapped up. “It will be out in August," he told Cinestaan.com. "We have already completed it.”

Asked what fans can expect from the second season, he responded, “It will get more intense and crisp.”

The actor will also be seen in the next season of The Great Indian Murder (2022) for which he begins shooting next month. According to Vineet Kumar, fans can expect many surprises from the series.
