The Marathi feature The Disciple (2021), the web-series Tabbar (2021) and The Family Man (Season 2, 2021) and the short film Bittu (2021) swept the Critics' Choice Film Awards 2022, which were held in Mumbai on 15 May.

In the feature film category, Chaitanya Tamhane’s The Disciple won Best Film, Best Director and Best Writing. The Best Actress category was a tie with Konkona Sensharma and Nimisha Sajayan sharing the honours respectively for Ajeeb Daastaans’s Geeli Pucchi and The Great Indian Kitchen (2021).
Critics' Choice Awards 2022: Aarya, The Family Man lead nominations
In the web-series category, the SonyLIV drama Tabbar, directed by Ajitpal Singh, bagged the Best Series trophy, while Amazon Prime Video’s popular The Family Man (Season 2) took home the Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor and Best Writing awards.
In the short film category, Karishma Dev Dube’s Bittu dominated with four wins, including Best Short Film. Cinematographer BR Vijayalakshmi was honoured with the Extraordinary Contribution to Cinema Award at the ceremony.
