Nikamma motion poster: Abhimanyu Dassani gets back in action mode

Abhimanyu Dassani is returning to the action genre in his next film Nikamma (2022). He first shot to fame with Vasan Bala’s cult film Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota (2019) where he made his debut as a young man who can't feel pain due to a congenital defect.

In Sabbir Khan’s action entertainer, Dassani is once again seen dispatching the bad guys with impressive action moves in the latest motion poster reveal for the film.

Khan has directed the films Kambakkht Ishq (2009), Heropanti (2014) and Baaghi (2016). Actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra returned to films after 14 years with her role in Nikamma; however, Hungama 2 (2021) was premiered first online.

The film also pairs singer Shirley Sethia with Dassani. She made her acting debut in the Netflix film Maska (2020) and will be seen on the big screen in the Telugu film Krishna Vrinda Vihari (2022) with Naga Shaurya.

The trailer for the feature film is due to be unveiled on 17 May.

Produced by Sony Pictures International Productions and Sabbir Khan Films, Nikamma is due to be released in theatres on 17 June.
