Girish Kulkarni and Tanaji Galgunde have united for the first time in Bhirkit to tickle our funny bones. The hilarious teaser begins with the introduction of Kulkarni's good-natured character, Tatya, who is taken advantage of by his fellow villagers.
The entertaining teaser sees Kulkarni and Galgunde's characters develop a bond and enjoy each other's presence. There is also a love story sub-plot between Galgunde and Monalisa Bagal's character. It will be interesting to see how these two completely different tracks intertwine.
Hrishikesh Joshi also plays an important character in the film, but the teaser doesn't reveal anything about him. The teaser also gives us glimpses of Kushal Badrike and Sagar Karande.
Bhirkit has been directed by Anup Ashok Jagdale, who has helmed films such as Bharla Malvat Rakhtana (2014) and Zhalla Bobhata (2017). The film's screenplay and dialogues have been written by Pratap Gangavane.
Presented by Classic Enterprise, the film has been produced by Suresh Oswal and Bhagyawanti Oswal and will be distributed by UFO Cine Media Network.
Bhirkit will arrive in cinemas on 17 June.
