Dear Friend teaser: Tovino Thomas's musician is lost in his own thoughts

Tovino Thomas plays a music composer in the upcoming movie Dear Friend, directed by Vineeth Kumar.

The teaser begins with a couple, played by Darshana Rajendran and Arjun Radhakrishnan, taking a walk and talking about setting up their single friend (Tovino Thomas) with a particular woman. However, they realize she might not be the right match for him.

Meanwhile, Tovino's character, who is walking ahead of them, is completely lost in his thoughts while listening to a soothing track. We soon find out that the track was composed by him. He seems content with his work and is happy in his solitude.

The teaser suggests that we will get a feel-good film about friendship. The film tells the story of five friends.

The film also stars Basil Joseph and Sanchana Natarajan, who is set to make her Malayalam cinema debut in this film.

Dear Friend's script has been written by Sharafu, Suhas and Arjunlal. The film has been edited by Deepu Joseph. Produced by Shaiju Khalid, Sameer Tahir and Aashiq Usman, Dear Friend will arrive in theatres on 10 June.

Tovino was last seen in the social thriller Naradan (2022), where he played a popular news anchor. The actor has several ambitious projects in the pipeline such as Anweshippin Kandethum (2022), Varavu (2022) and Vaashi (2022).
