Saunkan Saunkne song ‘Taur Sardar Saab Di’: Trouble brews in this wedding celebration song

The latest song to be released from the upcoming Punjabi feature Saunkan Saunkne, ‘Taur Sardar Saab Di’, is a wedding celebration track with a bit of a twist.

Sung by Ammy Virk and featuring music by Desi Crew and lyrics by Arjan Virk, the song indicates the turbulence that will come in the life of the main protagonists. Ammy Virk shared the song on Instagram on Tuesday.

Starring Ammy Virk, Sargun Mehta and Nimrat Khaira, the film has been directed by Amarjit Singh Saron and written by Amberdeep Singh. It is the story of an unusual family, where a man brings home a second wife, which leads to all kinds of quarrelsome situations between the two wives.

‘Taur Sardar Saab Di’ revolves around Virk’s second wedding where he ties the knot with Mehta’s younger sister, played by Khaira. The song of celebration sees the guests enjoying the festivities and having a great time. 

Mehta is also super enthusiastic and welcomes her husband’s second wife. She is seen enjoying herself at the wedding, dancing with the new bride. Although things seem quite rosy, towards the end of the song, Mehta is a bit pensive and decides to sit between Virk and his new wife, indicating the trouble to come. 

The film will be released in theatres on 13 May.
