Rishi Kapoor's last film Sharmaji Namkeen to be premiered on Amazon Prime Video on 31 March


After the veteran actor's death, Paresh Rawal stepped into his shoes to play his character in the movie.

The late veteran actor Rishi Kapoor's last film, Sharmaji Namkeen, which also stars Paresh Rawal, is set to be premiered directly on Amazon Prime Video on 31 March. 

The streaming giant and Excel Entertainment on Wednesday announced the world premiere of the actor's last film on social media. 

It's been almost two years since the actor died on 30 April 2020, and after his death, Paresh Rawal stepped into his shoes to play the same character.

The film tells a story of a recently retired man who discovers his passion for cooking after joining a riotous women’s kitty circle.

Directed by Hitesh Bhatia, the film features Juhi Chawla, Suhail Nayyar, Isha Talwar, Satish Kaushik, Taaruk Raina and Sheeba Chaddha.
