Alia Bhatt to star in Netflix film Heart Of Stone alongside Gal Gadot, Jamie Dornan

Alia Bhatt has signed on for her first international project with Netflix. The actress will join Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan on the sets of the streaming giant's upcoming spy thriller Heart Of Stone.

The project will be produced by Netflix and Skydance Studios and is likely to go on the floors this week. 

The project marks the first international film for Bhatt, whose most recent film, Gangubai Kathiawadi (2022) is making a splash at the box office. The actress has already won 4 Filmfare awards, with her latest film being premiered at the Berlinale International Film Festival (2022). 

Incidentally, Bhatt will be the second Indian artiste to team up with Gadot. The Israeli actress was recently part of Death On The Nile (2022), which featured Ali Fazal.

Gadot shared pictures from the set of Heart Of Stone, including one of herself as her character, Rachel Stone, on social media.

Dornan was nominated for the Golden Globe award for Best Supporting Actor for Belfast (2021) and is better known for his role as Christian Grey in the adaptations of EL James's bestselling Fifty Shades novels.

According to Deadline.com, Bhatt will be represented overseas by WME, Echo Lake Entertainment, Matrix and attorney Steve Warren.
