Ammy Virk announces the release date of Laung Laachi 2

The sequel to the Punjabi-language film Laung Laachi (2018), Laung Laachi 2, will be released on 19 August 2022.

Punjabi actor and singer Ammy Virk shared the news on Instagram with his fans.

Starring Amberdeep Singh and Neeru Bajwa, alongside Virk, the film has been written and directed by Singh.

Laung Laachi was also written and directed by Singh and starred the same actors. The title track of the film became the first Indian music video to cross 1 billion views on YouTube.

Virk was recently seen in the Punjabi film Aaja Mexico Challiye, which was written and directed by Rakesh Dhawan. The film has an unusual theme as it captures the plight of immigrants who try to go abroad.

Singh also has the film Sohreyan Da Pind Aa Gaya lined up for release, starring Gurnam Bhullar and Sargun Mehta. Directed by Ksshitij Chaudhary, the movie was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
