Bachchhan Paandey song ‘Saare Bolo Bewafa’: B Praak leads this ordinary song of heartbreak and betrayal

The second song from the Akshay Kumar-starrer Bachchhan Paandey (2022) revolves around heartbreak and betrayal. The actor, who plays the title character, enters uninvited at a wedding to taunt and jeer at the couple seated around the sacred fire.
The woman seems to be the ex of Pendulum (Abhimanyu Singh) and Bachchhan Pandey shows up to support his man at a key moment in his life. The ever-present Myra (Kriti Sanon), who wants to make a film on this fearsome gangster, is excitedly recording the events, while her associate (Arshad Warsi) decides to bust a move on the dance floor.
The wedding guests comprise a large number of high-ranking police officers who don’t flinch when the gangsters descend upon the wedding. Bizarrely, the song ends with the bride breaking free and joining them, and Pendulum, in the dance.
Written and composed by Jaani, the track ‘Saare Bolo Bewafa’ is quite ordinary with lyrics appealing to the lovelorn. Singer B Praak brings his usual energy to the situational song. It feels like a number we’ve heard countless times in previous Akshay Kumar films.
Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by Farhad Samji, the film is said to be a remake of the Tamil film Jigarthanda (2014). Bachchhan Paandey, which also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, is due to be released on 18 March.
