The Gashmeer Mahajani and Mrinmayee Godbole-starrer Vishu is set to arrive in theatres on 8 April 2022.
The makers announced the release date via a new poster, which depicts the opposite worlds of Mahajani and Godbole's characters. The latter seems to be playing a modern young woman who is busy with corporate life in a metropolis whereas Mahajani comes across as a laidback young man who lives near a coastal town.
Vishu features Manasi Mobile, Vijay Nikam, Aetasha Sansgiri and Pradnyesh Dingorkar.
Speaking about Vishu, director Mayur Shinde said, "Vishu is a family drama where we have tried to show a sweet and simple love story. I won't reveal much about the film's plot but I will say this that this film will make you feel positive and optimistic."
Shinde is also awaiting the release of his second directorial venture Babu starring Ankit Mohan. The makers are yet to announce the release date of this film.
Hrishikesh Koli has written the screenplay and dialogues for Vishu, which has been shot by Mohit Jadhav.
The film's music has been composed by Hrishikesh Kamerkar.
Vishu has been produced by Babu Krishna Bhoir and presented by Shri Krupa Productions.
