Zee5’s upcoming crime drama Bloody Brothers is the story of two siblings, played by Jaideep Ahlawat and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub.

Directed by Shaad Ali, the series depicts what happens when the two, who are returning home in their car, accidentally run over someone.

The show also stars well-known Marathi actor Jitendra Joshi as a private investigator. During the trailer launch of Bloody Brothers, the actor said that the only challenge he faced while playing this role was his character's Bihari background.

“I was cast in a hurry at the last moment,” he said. “I had to catch the Bihari accent. A lot of people had told me that as I am Marathi-speaker, I would have to work on it and do it my way. It was tough to get that accent right. That was the only challenging part about my character.”

Joshi was pleased with the atmosphere on the sets. “We did a lot of rehearsals. And everything happened very smoothly. There was no difficulty because of the co-actors and the director. When you create the right atmosphere and have that hunger, only good work happens. We never had to take a re-take because someone forgot the lines.”

In the Hindi space, Joshi is also known for his iconic cop character Katekar in Sacred Games. Last year, he also played a gangster in another Zee5 Hindi show Cartel (2021). His upcoming Marathi movie Godavari is also ready to be released. He has turned producer with this project.
