Gippy Grewal unveils new poster for Mother's Day release Maa

Punjabi singer-actor-producer Gippy Grewal has shared a new poster for his upcoming Mother's Day release Maa (2022).

Grewal shared the poster with a note saying, “On Mother’s Day, a movie with love, respect and affection to real-life god, Maa, worldwide releasing on 6th May 2022.”

Directed by Baljit Singh Deo and written by Rana Ranbir, Maa is produced by Ravneet Kaur Grewal and Gippy Grewal.

Besides Grewal, the film stars Divya Dutta, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Babbal Rai and Prince Kanwaljit Singh. The poster features a visibly aged Divya Dutta, who seems to be playing the central character of the mother around whom the film revolves.

Grewal is seen holding a large spade and appears to be playing the role of a farmer. There are also images of people running, along with athletes running in a stadium.

The poster also carries a line that says a mother is the image of god, indicating that the film will be an emotional drama and a tribute to motherhood. Befittingly, it is being released in time for Mother’s Day, which is celebrated every year on 8 May.
