Malayalam thriller Devika, starring Maanav and Athira Madhav, is available on YouTube

The Malayalam thriller film Devika, which stars Maanav and Athira Madhav, is now available on YouTube.

Directed by Jibin George James, the film tells a story of an actress and model who claims she was drugged and raped by the director during an audition.

The film, written by Sivaprasad Ramachandran Ikkara, has been screened at various national and international competitions and has won more than 40 awards, including the Best Supporting Actress award for Athira at the Madrid International Independent Film Festival.

The 70-minute film, which features Gayatri, Suresh, Rajan Idukki, Ardra Das and Srikanth S, tries to expose the double standards Indian society harbours when it comes to women.

 Devika has been produced by S Sarangapani under the banner of Focus Film Studio.
