Salman Khan’s Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali to be released on 30 December

Salman Khan’s Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, which was supposed to arrive in theatres on Eid 2023, will be released this year on 30 December. 

The news was shared by veteran trade analyst Taran Adarsh on Twitter. 

Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali is being produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. The two have collaborated on quite a few films in the past. Nadiadwala also made his directorial debut with Khan in Kick (2014). The film acquired the status of a super-hit at the box office and helped the actor enter the Rs200 crore club for the first time. 

Directed by Farhad Samji, Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali stars Pooja Hegde. The is the first time that the actress and Khan have been cast opposite each other. Hegde was a part of Nadiadwala’s successful production Housefull 4 (2019). 

Speaking about Hegde’s casting to the now-defunct daily tabloid Mumbai Mirror, Nadiadwala said in 2020, “Having worked with Pooja in Housefull 4, we felt she was the perfect fit for this film. She has an amazing screen presence and will make for a good pair with Salman. They will bring freshness to the story.”
