Box office: Hindi version of RRR has brilliant first Monday

The Hindi version of SS Rajamouli’s RRR had an excellent first Monday, earning Rs16.75 crore nett, according to trade website BoxOfficeIndia.com.
Starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR, RRR opened at Rs19 crore on Friday. The period epic sits atop the list of Hindi films with the highest first-Monday collection in recent times. The previous record was held by The Kashmir Files (2022), which made Rs14.83 crore followed by Sooryavanshi (2021, Rs14.42 crore).

The Hindi version of RRR had collected close to Rs75 crore on its first weekend. Right now, its grand total in this language stands at an impressive Rs91.25 crore and it is likely to reach the Rs100 crore mark on its fifth day.
This Friday, 1 April, will see the release of first-time filmmaker Lakshya Raj Anand’s action thriller Attack: Part 1, which stars John Abraham, Jacqueline Fernandez, Rakul Preet Singh and Prakash Raj.
The film is expected to have a difficult time at the box office because of RRR's excellent run.
