Final shooting schedule of Brahmastra: Part One, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, completed

The final shooting schedule of Brahmastra: Part One (2022), starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, was completed in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh at the Kashi Vishwanath Mandir.

Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film is due to be released in theatres on 9 September.

Dharma Productions, one of the backers of the long-awaited film, shared a brief video of the film’s two leads, Kapoor and Bhatt, cheering in a boat, surrounded by sadhus.

First announced in 2017, the fantasy superhero project went on the floors in 2018. Mukerji has been working on the trilogy for nearly seven years now. Kapoor plays Shiva, a young man who is in search of a powerful, mystical weapon. Bhatt plays Isha, his love interest who aids him in his mission.

Also starring Amit Bachchan, Nagarjuna, Dimple Kapadia and Mouni Roy, the film also has a special cameo by Shah Rukh Khan.

Produced by Fox Star Studios, Dharma Productions, Prime Focus and Starlight Pictures, Brahmastra: Part One will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
