The makers even launched an animation series on Amazon Prime Video.

Now, after the animated version, Arka Media Works and Graphic India have launched an audiobook, Baahubali: The Lost Legends, on Audible. The  English version will be available for Audible members while the Hindi version will be made available free for all listeners on Audible and Alexa.

Set before the Kalakeya invasion depicted in the movie, the first season will have 35 episodes featuring stories of the young Amarendra Baahubali and Bhallaladeva.

Conveying their excitement about the audiobook launch, Graphic India co-founder Sharad Devarajan said, “SS Rajamouli’s groundbreaking films have captured the hearts of millions of people across the country. Through this audio series, to be distributed exclusively on Audible, we are set to make an impact on the podcast market in India.

Shailesh Sawlani, vice-president and country general manager, Audible India, said, “From our experience, three key factors determine the love and acceptance of audio content — a great story, high production values, and quality narration. We have all three in spades here, which makes this launch incredibly exciting. I’m personally a huge Baahubali fan and I’m so excited we get to bring the first audio series of this franchise to Audible. We are looking forward to many more with Graphic India.”
